The ClearStar Network provides employers with the technology tools they need to retrieve public records information, as it becomes available in "real time" over a highly secure Internet connection. ClearStar resides on a series of powerful servers maintained by Compass and located in a secure hosting facility that links the servers to the Internet with more than three high-speed data connections. A business using a high-speed (DSL/ISDN/T-1) connection can access the ClearStar Network and manage their screening operations as if the physical system was in their own office. Each company’s private service interface is operated in a secure environment with access restricted by password login security. If a company prefers, they may also choose to access the ClearStar system manually. A company may choose to either submit requests by fax or by calling-in to the service to be manually keyed in to the system. The network is used to manage every aspect of the request to include, routing it to the correct source, tracking turn-around time of orders, printing final reports and invoicing. And if there is ever a question on an order, the "quick search" feature allows an operator to locate the appropriate information quickly and efficiently. The ClearStar Network is no way affiliated with a public records/pre-employment screening company or any sources of public record information. Instead, the ClearStar Network provides a management system and access through Internet technology. Best of all, with the ClearStar Network you are only paying for what you use!
